Dress Code

"Country club casual" is the accepted dress attire for all areas of the Palos Verdes Golf Club.

For Men: Golf attire as described below for the golf course. Shirts should be tucked in. Shirts with a straight hem designed to be worn outside (such as “island shirts”) are acceptable. Shoes are required; sandals are permitted if the toes are enclosed.

For Women: Golf attire as described below for the golf course. Shoes are required; fashionable sandals are permitted.

Dressy denim is allowed in the Main Bar, Grill Room, Members Card Room and Veranda ONLY. Dressy denim refers to fashionable jeans or tops in good, clean condition without rips, frayed edges, or visible holes.

Denim of any kind is not permitted in the Malaga Cove Main Dining Room at any time, unless approved for a special Club function.

Members are responsible for assuring children and guests comply with the dress code. A member or guest may arrive or depart from the Club in clothing that does not conform to the dress code and take a direct route from the parking area to the locker rooms or Fitness Center.

The Club's Food & Beverage Manager and on-duty Captain are authorized by the PVGC Board of Directors to monitor and enforce this policy.

Specific appropriate attire is described below for various areas at PVGC.
